Candace is a recognized expert in Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs or “granny flat”) and knows that creating a home does not require large amounts of money or space. Having recently built an ADU that sits in the middle of her vegetable garden, she and her husband are in the process of building a small home on a 50×50 urban lot.
Helping Seniors downsize to new digs ~
Candace has a BA in Interior Design and spent 10 years with the renowned Neil Kelly Company as a kitchen and bath designer. She is a NCIDQ-registered interior designer and an SRES – the designation that keeps brokers at the forefront of knowledge in how to effectively represent the interests of clients who are seniors. Having marketed three boutique condominium projects in Lake Oswego, she also enjoys representing baby boomers in relocating to the urban core.
Membership and Interests ~
Candace has spent 12 years as a real estate professional and maintains an active role with the Portland AARP. She also participates in a Habitat For Humanity build helping others put a roof over their heads in Nicaragua, Romania and Africa. On the home front she is involved with the Windermere Foundation supporting homeless and low-income families in our community. A native of Michigan, Candace enjoys gardening, design, skiing, chamber music, writing, and wine tasting.
